Privacy policy

We take your privacy as seriously as we take our metalwork. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to ask us to forget you.

Information we collect. When you place an order, we collect your name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone number (if provided), and payment information. When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email and, if you share it, your first name. When you browse our site, we collect standard analytics data — pages visited, device type, referring source, approximate location based on IP. We do not collect or store any data that would identify your ward, stake, temple recommend status, or any other ecclesiastical information; we have no use for it.

How we use it. Order data is used to fulfill your order, send shipping updates, process returns, and answer your questions. Email address is used to send you order confirmations and — if you opted in — our monthly letter. Analytics data is used to understand which pages and pieces are working and which aren’t.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and, where applicable, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. We never see your full card number. Your payment information is encrypted and handled under PCI-DSS standards.

Sharing. We share data with the small set of partners we need to run the business: our shipping carriers (to get the box to you), our email platform (to send the letters you signed up for), our analytics provider, and our payment processors. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone, ever.

Cookies. We use cookies to keep your cart full between visits, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site features may not work without them.

Marketing emails. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe at the bottom. We honor unsubscribes immediately.

Your rights. You can ask us to show you the data we have on you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email privacy@thecovenantcraft.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Children. Our site and products are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes. We’ll post any updates to this policy on this page and date them.
